The Town of Colfax will begin paving projects Thursday, Sept. 21 through Tuesday Sept. 26, and officials requested residents to move their vehicles from streets being paved to avoid towing expenses.
Milling is expected to begin on Thursday morning at 7 a.m., and paving is expected to begin Friday and continue through Tuesday. Vehicles must be moved from the streets undergoing the paving project by 6 a.m. on Thursday morning.
“Failure to move your vehicle could result in being towed at the owners expense,” officials posted.
The paving project will include Franklin Street from Columbia Street to Oakland Street, Franklin Street from Oakland Street to Meridian Street, Meridian Street from Franklin Street to Jefferson Street, College Street from Franklin Street to Jefferson Street and Ohio Street from Oakland Street to Meridian.
