This year marks the Friends of the Frankfort Libraries 26th year of concerts. We are kicking off the 2018-2019 series with Cornfields and Crossroads. On November 17 at 7:30 p.m. they will be gracing the Elizabeth O’Rear Skanta Theatre for their second time.
Cornfields and Crossroads is a high energy band based out of Indianapolis. 2018 is their 12th year as a regional bluegrass band they have been entertaining audiences all over the Midwest for many years. They strive to lighten the hearts of music lovers through traditional, contemporary and gospel bluegrass music everywhere they go.
The group is made up of seasoned musicians who have long histories in bluegrass music.
Cornfields and Crossroads is made up of seasoned musicians who have long histories in bluegrass music. Darrell, Dan, Joe and Mark are playing some of the most exciting, hard driving and sometimes softer side of bluegrass in the Midwest. Their distinctive style and enjoyable stage presence brings audiences to their feet everywhere they go.
Series tickets are still available. They are $40 for four concerts, which include: Cornfields and Crossroads, Cathy Morris, Carrie Newcomer and Boogie Woogie Kid. Individual tickets are $13 and can be purchased at the circulation desk with cash, check, or credit card. You may also reserve seats over the phone with a credit card.
