Coroner’s Office Says Both Victims in Mulberry Died From Gunfire

The Clinton County Sheriff’s Office issued an update Thursday on the case in Mulberry where two people were found dead Tuesday.
Clinton County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to 215 S Elm Street in the town of Mulberry for a welfare check. Deputies located Robert Keith Lipsett, 57, and Carrie Ann Hazelbaker, 42, deceased inside the garage.
The Clinton County Coroner’s Office has determined the cause of both deaths to be gunfire.
Detectives with the Sheriff’s Office, along with the Coroner, have determined that Lipsett was shot from behind by Hazelbaker before she took her own life.
