Deborah L. Stock, 68, passed away on Wednesday, July 28, 2021 at her home in Frankfort. She was born in Santa Monica, California on September 17, 1952, to Carrol and Sally (Malloy) Staton. She graduated from Yorktown High School in Indiana in 1971 and then attended Ball State University. She married Gary Stock on March 1, 1972; he survives.
Deb was a local entrepreneur and active in the community. She was also a woman of eclectic tastes with a passion for collecting and preserving antiques. Her interests ranged from genealogy to 1950’s B movies. But Deb’s chief love was her family. She was a dedicated wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt. She always lifted others on the path of life. She never met a stranger and loved kids. She was generous, kind, and a person you were blessed to know. As her grandchildren would say, Grandma always brought the fun!
Surviving with her husband, Gary, are her parents, Carrol and Sally; sons, Zach Stock (wife, Kris) and Seth Stock (wife, Allison) both of Carmel; brothers, Steve Staton, Cary Staton, and Jim Staton; sisters, Cindy Ammerman and Niki Swander; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. Also surviving to carry on her legacy are her grandchildren, Liv, Maddie, Charlie, Roxy, Vera, and Cooper.
Memorial visitation will be from 10 am to Noon on Saturday, August 7, 2021 at Genda Funeral Home in Frankfort.
