The Delphi Lions Club honored members of the Delphi Community School Corporation Oracle family last night with awards for their outstanding work in the community and the school system.
During the ceremony, two high school scholarship awards, a teacher of the year award, the Melvin Jones Fellow award, the Lions of the Year award and the W.P. Woods award were presented. Award winners include:
- McKenzie Sandifur – High School Scholarship Award
- Molly Tharp – High School Scholarship Award
- Jay Dennison – Teacher of the Year
- Gil Smith – Melvin Jones Fellow Award
- James Tyner – Lion of the Year
- Joe Seurynk – W.P. Woods Award
