It was a beautiful day to have a Fun Fishing Day at The Lagoons Saturday Sponsored by the Optimist Club and F.U.N. (Frankfort’s Unified Neighborhoods) for Everyone that attended the Fishing derby had a great time with a lot of fish being caught. Registration started at 9am and at 12 noon hot dogs where then grilled on what you would say was a very appropriate grill. That being a “Bobber” grill donated by Ryan Carlson, yes, a grill that looked just like a huge “Bobber”.
The winners of the Fun Fishing Day were as follows:
Kids; Ashton Bell Age 4 caught a 22” catfish
Most caught: Galvin family caught 20+ fish
Adult age: Lea Viney caught a 23” catfish
Biggest Fish caught: Derik King age 11 caught a 23” catfish.
Frito lay for donated the chips, D&R Awards donated the plaques, Carlson family donated the Bobber Grill.
