The Flora Depot Railroad and Local History Museum officially released the schedule for the 2024 Depot Day Festival in downtown Flora set for this Friday, Sept. 28 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Schedule of Events:
- Town-Wide Yard Sales All Day
- 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.: Vendors and Food, Flora Town Parking Lot
- 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.: Exhibits at the Flora Depot Museum
- 10 a.m. – 3 p.m.: Model Train Show, Event & Education Center, Flora Park
- Stops at Center & Main Streets, Event & Education Center
- 11 a.m. – 5 p.m.: Music and Announcements, Playback DJ & Audio
- 11 a.m. – 3 p.m.: Idlers Car Club Cruise-In, Depot Site
- 11:30 a.m.: One Pot Dish Cook-Off Winners Announced
- 12 p.m.: First Cake Walk
- 1 p.m.: Judging For Brothers Of The Brush Contest
- 2 p.m.: Second Cake Walk
- 3 p.m.: Voting Ends For Cutest Little Toot Contest, Flora Depot Museum
- 3 p.m.: Third Cake Walk
- 3 p.m. – 5 p.m.: Greg Rhodes Music
- 3:30 p.m.: Last Chance To Enter 50/50 Raffle
- Tickets at Flora Depot Museum
- 4 p.m.: Winners Of The Cutest Little Toot Contest Announced
- 4 p.m.: 50/50 Raffle Drawing
- 4:15 p.m.: Fourth Cake Walk, If Supplies Last
- 5 p.m.: Festival Closes
A free shuttle will be provided between the festival and the train show.
