FHS Volleyball Downs Fountain Central
Frankfort journeyed to Veedersburg Monday night and came home with a victory over Fountain Central.
Serving was the key to success and leading the way was Mercedez Toney with seven aces. Tarah Martinez added four aces and Sydni Whitaker had three aces.
Offensively, Lindsey Gay had 24 assists and six kills, Morgan Adamson had eight kills, while Allyson Timmons and Bella Colby each put down seven kills. Maicee Stirrett led the defense with 10 digs.
The junior varsity was also victorious Monday. For the JV, Jazzy Oppelt and Kylie Field each had four aces. Eryka Pillion had two aces and six digs, Amber Houchen had two solo blocks nd Emma Pillion had five assists. Emily Hurless added four kills.
