The TPA Park July 4th Festival kicked off at 10 a.m. Sunday, July 4, with live entertainment, Food vendors, Craft vendors, Colts in Motion, Jigsaw Puzzle Competition and so much more. The TPA Petting Zoo and Bird Aviary was open and caught much attention from folks of all ages.
The Bandstand schedule started at 10 a.m. — Pound and Zumba; 11 a.m. — Jigsaw Puzzle Competition; 12:30 p.m. — Travis Zink; 3 p.m. — Gem City Band; 5 p.m. — Hunter Wainscott; and 7:30 p.m. — Blue River Band.
The evening ended with the Frankfort Jaycees Fireworks Show beginning at dusk. Many arrived early to mark their spot to watch the fireworks and for all of the live entertainment at the TPA Park Bandstand.
There was no admission fee.
Even though the day started out a little slow, by 2 pm the park was packed and everyone had a great day.
The Frankfort Police, Ems, Fire departments,Jaycees, and Parks Department was on hand for the safety and enjoyment of the days events.

Thank you to the Frankfort Parks Dept and to the Frankfort Jaycees for another year of safe and wonderful day and evening of fun and fireworks to celebrate our country’s independence.
Special thanks to Clinton County Sheriff’s department and inmates that sit with the animals at the Clinton County Humane Society during the fireworks to keep them from getting too stressed.
The park remained clean and litter free throughout the day thanks to the parks department employees.
