The Monday Matinee at Harry’s will feature Gremlins (PG) directed by Joe Dante and written by Chris Columbus. The Matinee takes place in Harry’s Coffee bar on Monday, Oct. 30, at 1 p.m. Remember: do not feed your gremlin after midnight!
Trick-or-treaters are welcome to come to the library on Halloween and visit each department to collect candy. We will have a free screening of the contemporary classic Hocus Pocus in the Skanta Theatre at 6:00 p.m. Free popcorn and water will be served. Hocus Pocus is rated PG and stars Bette Midler, Sarah Jessica Parker, and Kathy Namijy as witches accidently resurrected by teens on Halloween night. Be sure and wear a costume because prizes will be awarded.
