Hillis M. Dunn

Hillis M. Dunn, 69, of rural Frankfort, died May 3, 2021 at his home.  He was born August 20, 1951 in Clinton County, Ind. to Max L & Nancy D. (Hillis) Dunn.  He married Patricia Bougher on March 19, 1983 in Hillisburg, Ind. and she survives.

Hillis was a 1969 graduate of Clinton Central High School and attended Purdue University, studying Agriculture and Business.  He was a lifelong Clinton County resident and farmer.  He was a member of the First Christian Church in Frankfort, and the Elks Lodge where he was past Exhaulted Ruler.  Hillis and Pat enjoyed wintering in Florida for the past 7 years.  He was an avid golfer, loved by many, a friend to many and enjoyed spending time with family and friends.

He is survived by his Wife:  Patricia A. Dunn of rural Frankfort, 3 Sons:  Beau Dunn of rural Frankfort, Chris (Charity) Keller of rural Frankfort, Matt (Jessica) Keller of rural Frankfort, 2 Daughters:  Tami Hutchison of rural Kirklin, Shauna Ross of Tennessee, 4 Sisters:  Loretta (husband Fred) Minnich of rural Michigantown, Elizabeth (husband Tom Murphy) Dunn of New York, Carolyn D. (husband Jeff) Williamson of Frankfort, Marilyn Dunn of Frankfort, 2 Brothers:  Ted (wife Kim) Dunn of Rural Frankfort, Troy (wife Stacy) Dunn of rural Michigantown, 13 Grandchildren and 7 Great Grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a nephew, Nathan Dunn.

Funeral Services:

 Visitation will be 10 a.m. -12 Noon Saturday, May 8, 2021 at Goodwin Funeral Home, 200 S. Main St., Frankfort.  Funeral services will be held at 12 Noon at the funeral home. Pastor Pam Ditson-McCall will officiate the services.  Burial will follow in Whiteman Cemetery, Michigantown, Ind.  Memorial donations may be made to the First Christian Church Memorial Fund, 58 S. Columbia St., Frankfort, IN  46041.
