Holly Jo Ricks, 40, of Russiaville, went home to Jesus on August 19, 2024. She was born on December 4, 1983 in Tipton, Ind. to Mike Ricks and Penny (Eli) Henderson. She was previously married to Christopher Ward and they later divorced. Holly attended Clinton Prairie and Clinton Central High Schools. She lived the majority of her life in Clinton County. Holly was baptized at the New Life Assembly of God Church. She enjoyed being outdoors, camping, hiking, canoeing and especially loved cleaning and organizing. Holly enjoyed listening to music, crafting and also enjoyed collecting and painting rocks.
She is survived by her Son: Nolan Ward of Forest, Daughter: Chloe Ward of Forest, Mother: Penny Henderson of Michigantown, Father: Mike Ricks (Mable Morrow) of Frankfort, Step Father: Lonny Henderson of 
Lafayette, Sisters: Becky (Chad) Davis of Michigantown and Missy Ricks of Forest, Nephews: Lane Davis and Parker Price, Uncles: Jay Eli of Michigantown and LeRoy (Tina) Eli of Hillisburg and Aunt: Renda (Ray) Staggs of Mooresville.
She was preceded in death by her sister Misty Lee Ricks, maternal and paternal grandparents, Uncles Mike Eli and Roger Ricks and Aunt Shirley Huffer.
Funeral Services:
Visitation will be from 10 am – Noon on Saturday, August 24, 2024 followed by Funeral Services at Noon at Goodwin Funeral Home. Burial will take place in Scott Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to Goodwin Funeral Home to assist the family with final expenses. Goodwin Funeral Home, 200 S. Main St., Frankfort is assisting the family with arrangements.
