The Frankfort Hot Dogs raced to top placements at the 8-way cross country meet held at Harrison in West Lafayette on Saturday, Aug. 17 with impressive showcases from the girls and boys teams.
In the girls meet, senior Ashley Vasquez-Rivera led the team with a top 25 finish, securing a 24th-place finish to enter the top echelon of the athletes. Kimberly Morena followed closely behind with a 28th-place finish with the remaining girls keeping pace and setting goals for their runs during the season.
For the boys meet, junior Devin Jaggar led the team with a 37th-place finish, followed closely by freshman Sam Troyer with a 42nd-place finish.
