On Wednesday, Lady Hot Dog Golfers score with “birdies” or a “birdy” on every card. Frankfort’s terrific trio of golfers took on the Cool Lake golf course Wednesday evening.  In a scheduled three-way match with North Montgomery and host Lebanon, the Dogs had to compete as individuals because of the lack of a fourth player.

In carding a respectable 51 Mitchell scored her “birdy’ on the 17th hole after a long drive down the middle and a great chip and run and a successful putt.  Shipley started her match on the par 4 14th by holing a 12-foot downhill putt to put a “birdy” on her card.  She finished the nine with a score of 42.  Number one golfer Cesare used back to back “birdies” of 15 and 16 to bring her in with 37, the second lowest score of the day.  Lebanon’s Lauren Gascho was overall medalist with a 1 under par 34.
