I-65 Project Will Close Ramps for Concrete Patching

The Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) announces the State Road 47 to I-65 southbound entrance ramp at (Exit 146) will close Friday, November 3 at 10 p.m. and reopen Monday, November 5 by 6 a.m. Also, the State Road 28 entrance ramp to I-65 northbound at (Exit 158) will close Friday, November 3 at 10 p.m. and reopen Monday, November 5 at 8 a.m. The contractor will be performing full-depth concrete patching on the ramps and resurfacing the shoulders.

Milestone Contractors, L.P. was awarded the $47.2 million contract. The project on I-65 includes patching and resurfacing the interstate from one mile south of U.S. 52 in Lebanon to nearly 3.5 miles south of State Road 38 in Lafayette, replacing the decks on the State Road 47 Bridge and on Tippecanoe County Road 900 and 1000 East Bridges over I-65. The project is scheduled to be completed in October of 2018.
