Jackie Ann Johns, 55, of Rossville, passed away June 16, 2022, in IU Arnett Hospital in Lafayette.
Born April 18, 1967, in Lafayette, Jackie was the daughter of John and Betty (Moore) Johns. After attending Turkey Run High School, Jackie earned her Certified Nurse Aide certification and worked at Franciscan Hospital. She also provided some private duty nursing assistance and drove school buses for both Rossville and Delphi Schools.
Jackie attended Shepherd’s Chapel and was an avid Bible reader. Her favorite hobbies included drawing, crafting, crocheting and flower gardening. She loved spending time with her family, was hard working, and was an animal lover. A couple of Jackie’s fondest memories is having her own daughter, Megan at home, and delivering her grandson, Mack.
Surviving Jackie are her mother, Betty; son, Adam (Caley Ridge) Woodhouse; daughter, Megan (Francis) Kinsler; brothers, Scott Johns and John Johns; sister, Jessie (Gary) Hubbert; grandson, Mack Woodhouse; and granddaughter, Opal Kinsler.
Preceding Jackie in death are her father, John, and a brother, Curtis Johns.
Visitation will be Thursday, June 23, 2022, from 10:00 a.m. until the start of the funeral service at 12:00 p.m. at Genda Funeral Home in Rossville. Pastor Scott Highlander will officiate. Burial will follow in Rossville Cemetery. Messages of condolence may be directed to www.gendafuneralhome.com
