Greta “Kay” Maddock, 80, of Frankfort, Ind., died July 20, 2021 at Westminster Village North, Indianapolis. She was born July 28, 1940 in Frankfort to John A. & Greta (Weaver) Ingoldsby. She married Charles W. Maddock on August 9, 1959 in Lebanon and he preceded her in death on December 9, 2010.
Kay was a 1958 graduate of Lebanon High School and a graduate of Gestalt Institute of Indianapolis. During the 60’s and 70’s, she worked in the accounting department in various automotive dealerships. She was a counselor for several years at the Koala Center in Lebanon, Ind. and worked in social services at Wesley Manor, and her private practice “Iris”. She previously attended St. Paul Lutheran Church and is currently a member of the First Evangelical Presbyterian Church. She was a board member of the Clinton County Humane Society and the Paul Phillippe Senior Resource Center, was a member of Women of the Moose and WELCA. Kay was also a graduate of Leadership of Clinton County. She loved spending time with her grandchildren, her dog “Oscar”, and she enjoyed gardening.
Surviving are her Daughter: Kimberly (Kenneth, Jr.) Newhart of Frankfort; 2 Sons: Charles Kent Maddock of Lafayette and Kirk A. (Kayleah) Maddock of Indianapolis; Brother: Robert C. (Ann) Ingoldsby of Fairborn, OH; 11 Grandchildren; and 13 Great Grandchildren.
Funeral Service will be held at 6 p.m. Monday, July 26, 2021 at Goodwin Funeral Home, 200 S. Main Street, Frankfort. Friends may visit 4 p.m. until the time of service, Monday at the funeral home. Memorial donations may be made to Parkinson’s Research. Burial will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, July 28, 2021 in Green Lawn Memorial Park, Frankfort.
