Week number two of the Indiana High School Athletic Association playoff games commence Friday night across the state and WILO AM/.FM and Shine 99 TV will be the hitting the road to cover local and area teams in sectional semifinal action.
Don Stock and Karl Kercheval will be at Monroe Central in Randolph County as the Clinton Prairie Gophers journey across the state to play the 9-1 Golden Bears at 7:30 p.m. The Gophers are 5-5 following last week’s 74-20 victory over winless Anderson Prep Academy. Monroe Central posted a 57-6 victory over winless Clinton Central last week. Monroe Central won its first eight games scoring 50 or more points four times and allowing just 39 points total before losing to Shenandoah 42-20 the final week of the regular season.

Shine TV will also hit the road as the Sheridan Blackhawks take their 8-2 record to Wes-Del to play the 5-5 Warriors. Sheridan ran past Tri-Central 50-8 in its sectional opener, while Wes-Del downed Union City 24-8 in its sectional opener. Wes-Del enters the game on a four-game winning streak after beginning the year 1-5 with that lone victory being a 36-28 win over Cambridge City Lincoln in double overtime.
