As part of their ongoing efforts to share news of Frankfort’s progress and hear residents’ ideas and concerns, Mayor Chris McBarnes and the City’s department heads invite community members to join them at the next Mayor’s Night Out at Frankie’s Café on Tuesday, April 23 at 6:30 p.m. Residents are encouraged to come early to visit and purchase a drink from the cafe in advance of the event. Mayor’s Night Out will take place in the back room of the cafe.
Joining the Mayor at the event will be Fire Chief John Kirby, Police Chief Troy Bacon, Building Inspector Sam Payne, Parks Superintendent Travis Sheets, Street Superintendent Jason Forsythe, General Manager of Utilities Todd Corrie and Community Development Director Annie Bacon. Following the Mayor’s remarks, each department head will spend a few minutes sharing information on their respective department’s activities. Residents then will be encouraged to ask questions, make suggestions for areas of improvement and share any issues they are experiencing.
“Our goal is to make this event a one-stop-shopping type experience for our residents to learn more about what’s happening in their community and have issues resolved on the spot,” McBarnes said.
Frankie’s Café is located on the downtown square at 62 East Clinton Street.
