Morris E. Egelhoff, 82, a long time Geetingsville area resident, died July 25, 2021 at Wesley Manor. He was born October 11, 1938 at home in Clinton County to William Egelhoff & Devera (Maggart) Egelhoff. He married Shirley R. Galvin on September 15, 1957 and she survives.
Morris was a 1956 graduate of Rossville High School. He had worked at Delco G.M. and Chrysler prior to owning and operating Egelhoff Auto Salvage. He had also worked at Clinton County Disposal and owned/operated Egelhoff Chevrolet in Frankfort. He formerly attended Geetingsville Presbyterian Church, and was a 50-year member of Beard Masonic Lodge. His hobby was restoring thunderbirds and mustangs.
Surviving are her Daughter: Julie (Alan) White of Lafayette; Son: Ross (Tanja) Egelhoff of Cutler; Brother: Larry (Jeannie) Egelhoff of Nashville, TN; 3 Grandchildren: Brooke, Evan & Justin; 4 Great Grandchildren: Evan James “EJ”, Grace Vivian, Dash and Tristin.
Family services were held. Burial was in Geetingsville Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the Beard Masonic Lodge. Goodwin Funeral Home, 200 S.
