The owners and community are saddened by the destruction of Monday nights storm to a staple of the community (The Conservation Club) Mulberry.
Many sad members of the county are posting on Facebook about their memories at the club that has been used for many events over the years.
A large tree fell on the building and as a result it is closed for the remainder of the year. Danielle Carter handles the booking and said she has reached out to all who are booked to give them the news.
Danielle says “The community as a whole are heartbroken as the club holds a lot of special memories for many.
Mulberry was hit pretty hard and many were still without power this morning with Duke Energy sending out texts to customers that it should be back up by noon.
