Mulberry United Methodist Church announced its upcoming celebration in honor of its 150th Anniversary in the community with a special Sunday service set for Sept. 8.
Church leaders have announced that in honor of the church turning 150 on Sunday, Sept. 8, the leaders have planned a morning of reminiscing and passing through memory lane to reflect on the friends and community that has developed within the congregation. Community members have been invited to attend the service and then participate in several activities throughout the day, or community members may attend just to reminisce with old friends while meeting new ones along the way.
The special morning service will be held at 10 a.m. on Sept. 8, and then the community will be invited for an all church and community lunch where pictures, stories and memories will be shared. The luncheon will follow the worship service around noon, and community members are welcomed to attend regardless of whether they attended the service.
