Music Down Under to Feature Mike Flowers on May 24

Enjoy an evening of free music at Harry’s Coffee Bar. The Frankfort Community Public Library announces Music Down Under featuring Mike Flowers. Music Down Under will take place on Thurs., May 24, at 6 p.m. in Harry’s Coffee Bar on the lower level of the Frankfort Community Public Library. Light refreshments available for purchase and donations will be accepted for musicians. This is a family friendly, all ages, free event. Expect some country tunes, as well as various folk songs.

Mike Flowers grew up with Saturday morning “cowboy” TV. His received his first guitar at 16 years old and the first song he learned was “Red River Valley.” He also plays the mandolin. Mike is from Colfax, Indiana and he is a pastor with the United Methodist Church.
