Patrick L. Wayt, 71, of rural Frankfort, died at 10:17 a.m. October 22, 2017 at his home. Born March 18, 1946 in Clinton County to Beryl & Mildred (Snodgrass) Wayt. He married Dana L. Myers on October 2, 1965 at the Antioch Church and she survives.Pat was a 1964 graduate of Clinton Central High School and lived in Clinton County his entire life. He was a lifelong grain and hog farmer. He attended the Antioch Church. Pat enjoyed bookwork, working outside and visiting with people. On May 5, 1996, 21 years ago, Pat was the recipient of a heart transplant. He loved his family, especially his grandchildren.
He is survived by: wife: Dana L. Wayt of rural Frankfort, 2 daughters: Renee (Marc) Shoemaker of rural Frankfort and Tracy (Jerome) Berry of Augusta, Georgia, 2 Sisters-in-Law: Sally R. Myers of Frankfort and Marilyn Cale of Colorado Springs, Colorado, 4 nieces: Kelli Wayt Spoto of Colorado Springs, Colorado, Julie Myers of Indianapolis, Cathy (Kevin) Price of Frankfort and Megan Myers of Harrison, Ohio. 6 Grandchildren: Chase Joseph, Brant Joseph, Jhett Shoemaker, Cassidy Shoemaker, Jaylon Berry and Jaden Berry.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 2 brothers, Mike & Stanley Wayt and a son-in-law: David Joseph in 2009.

Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. Wednesday, October 25, 2017 at Goodwin Funeral Home, 200 S. Main St., Frankfort. Funeral service will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday, October 26, 2017 at the funeral home. Pastor David Klipp will officiate.
