Thousands of Duke Energy customers in northwest Clinton County were affected by a power outage Wednesday morning. Reports of outages in Rossville, Mulberry and Edna Mills came in early in the morning.
The power outage forced Rossville schools to close for the day Wednesday.
A Duke Energy representative says a crew with a mobile substation is working to restore power as soon as possible. There is no timetable on when that will be.
Duke is currently trying to figure out what caused the outage.
