WANE-TV in Fort Wayne is reporting that Indiana experienced a 3.8 magnitude earthquake northeast of Montezuma in west central Indiana just after 3:15 p.m. Thursday.
The United States Geological Survey (USGS) confirmed an earthquake was reported 2 1/2 miles northeast of Montezuma in Parke County, west of Indianapolis, near the Illinois border. Montezuma is 64 miles away from Indianapolis.
There have been no immediate reports of injuries, but some “very light” damage was reported near Montezuma. According to a USGS intensity map, the quake was felt from Bloomington to Logansport.
