The Farmers Bank is pleased to announce that Jared Stillwell joined the bank on July 25 as a Commercial/Ag Banking Officer. Prior to joining the bank, Stillwell was a tax staff accountant with a firm in Lafayette, IN. He worked closely with small business owners and individuals preparing their month-end and year-end accounting as well as assisting with the preparation of individual and entity tax forms. During Covid, he also engaged with clients and prepared their PPP Loan and Forgiveness applications. Jared also served as a summer float teller at The Farmers Bank in 2019.
Stillwell graduated from Clinton Prairie Jr-Sr High School. He received his Bachelor of Science degree from Purdue University and his Masters of Accounting degree from the Krannert School of Management at Purdue University.
Outside of The Farmers Bank, you can find Stillwell on a tractor, in the barn, or at a sporting event! In his spare time he enjoys assisting with my family’s farming & livestock operation, researching his next investment opportunity, or helping with high school baseball when his schedule permits. Being a Purdue grad, Stillwell is an avid Purdue sports fan and has been a lifelong Cubs fan. He is a member of the Purdue Club of Clinton County where the club recognizes incoming Purdue freshmen with scholarships based upon their accolades and need.
