Last week, the local Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution presented a Plaque to the Frankfort Parks Department in recognition of TPA Park being listed on the National Register of Historic Places. DAR and the Frankfort Parks Department contacted the Indiana Historical Landmark in 2015 to start the process. The National approval was granted on August 28, 2019. Marilyn Chittick sought permission from the Frankfort Board of Public Works and Safety to purchase a plaque to be displayed at the TPA Park.
