Vincent “Jim” Ciccarelli, 87, passed away on Tuesday, August 6, 2024, at his home in Jamestown, Indiana. He was born October 11, 1936, in In Detroit, Michigan, a son of the late Guido and Pauline Ciccarelli.
On November 25, 1972, he was united in marriage to Leslie A. (Foster) Ciccarelli at the Jamestown United Methodist Church; she survives.
Jim graduated from Camden High School in 1956. In 1961, he proudly served his county in the United States Navy as a Seabee and retired in December of 1981. He also graduated from Johnson and Wales University in 1981.
Jim was employed as a cook and cashier at Churches Fried Chicken in Indianapolis, and he was a carpenter at Beam Construction in Jamestown. He was a member of Jamestown American Legion Post 137 and MCB 6 Association. Jim enjoyed collecting lighters, listening to music, and spending time with his family.
Survivors include his wife, Leslie Ciccarelli and his daughter, Paula Ciccarelli both of Jamestown.
Funeral Services with Military Rites will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, August 9, 2024, at Porter and Hunt Funeral Home, 315 West Main Street, Jamestown, Indiana. Visitation is planned from 12:00 noon until the time of service. Interment will follow services at I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Jamestown.
