Wilma Joan (Dunn) Spray, 91, of Frankfort, Ind., died at 2:07 p.m. October 7, 2017 at Wesley Manor. She was born October 26, 1925 in Clinton County to Eldon C. & Hattie Vern (Fulkerson) Dunn. She married John H. Spray on October 7, 1945 and he preceded her in death in 2008.
Mrs. Spray was a 1943 graduate of Kirklin High School and was a lifelong Clinton County resident. She was a homemaker and formerly worked in the cafeteria at Kirklin Grade School and Clinton Central High School. Joan was a member of the Hillisburg United Methodist Church, formerly a member of the Hillisburg O.E.S., Johnson Township Homemakers, Priscilla Club of Kirklin Township, Hillisburg United Methodist Women. Joan enjoyed singing and being a member of the Home Echo’s.
Family: 2 Daughters: Sandra K. (John) Tidd of Crawfordsville, and Peggy A. (Jerry) Graham of Thorntown, Son: Gary L. (Brenda) Spray of Kirklin, 6 Grandchildren and 17 Great Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by brother, Charles M. Dunn and a sister, Mary M. Burrell.
Services:
Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Thursday, October 12, 2017 and one hour prior to the service on Friday at Goodwin Funeral Home. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Friday, October 13th at the funeral home. Pastor Ken Rushing will officiate the service. Burial will be in Green Lawn Memorial Park. Memorial donations may be made to Guardian Angel Hospice.
