This Little Piggy Stays Home Set for This Old Farm

This Little Piggy Stays Home at This Old Farm on Saturday, May 18, to help support Hoosiers Feeding the Hungry! The afternoon begins at 2 p.m. with outdoor activities and farm animals to entertain the young and the old, a cash bar, raffles and live music. At 3 p.m., This Old Farm staff will demonstrate home food preparation techniques, and at 5 p.m., dinner is served.

Through awareness of the seasonality of food has been lost by many Americans due to the advent of large distribution systems, it remains a fact of life for the many farmers who grow our food, and any business that emphasizes locally produced product. Thus, you are inviting to join us, our farmers and our artisans in celebrating the return of the growing season!

By sharing a meal with many faces of local Indiana agriculture, we hope to increase your appreciation for the effort put into providing good food. All food will be provided by local Indiana farmers and artisans, all proceeds go to Hoosiers Feeding the Hungry to help provide high quality food to low income families.

Tickets are $60 for adults, $30 for children 12 and under, and include a complimentary drink at a cash bar courtesy of Black Hawk Winery, live music, a food demo, outdoor activities for the kids, a four-course local meal and more!

This Old Farm is located at 9572 West County Road 650 South in Colfax. Space is limited, so call today at 765-324-2161 to reserve your tickets.
