“What we really want is for this to be a great place for the community to enjoy and a great place to be able to celebrate life’s celebrations,” said Cindy Shoup Cacy. “So, whether it’s a wonderful wedding or a shower or a retirement party or a celebration of life. I think that’s the most rewarding of what we do here is that we can be part of everyone’s special moments.”

Cacy said remodeling took about three months and it started because they couldn’t have events due to COVID.

“We came over in January and started ripping out of the carpet,” she said. “We ripped out the caret and thought we better keep going. One thing led to another and before you knew it, we were in construction mode.”

The open house featured appetizers, a newly renovated bar and live music from Jerod Bolt. An featured prominently is a new color scheme of gray and white.

“That’s just really a fresh look and it’s really great for any event that comes in here or wedding because they can use any color and its neutral and it works for this,” said Amy Shoup Mennen. “I just recently remodeled by bathroom and I used the same color in my bathroom. The new subway tile that’s behind our bar is the same that I used.”

Mennen also said the new flooring is perfect for dancing.

“We are thrilled that the community is so supportive of what we have done here,” said Cacy. “We like being part of the community and hopefully will a lot of great memories about this place.”
