462 Meaning Revealed With Skydive Jump And School Colors

Clinton County graduates 462 Seniors this year.

In a tribute to 462 graduates from 6 County Schools, Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Shan Sheridan, School administrators, parents, community leaders and students gathered at the Clinton County Fairgrounds Grandstands.

”462” is also an “angel number” and fit nicely into the theme for area seniors “stolen spring” this year:

All county school colors were represented in the 462 billboard on the jog, commemorating Clinton County’s 462 graduating seniors this year.

Shan Sheridan congratulated the class of 2020 and also challenged them to not be consumed or controlled by fear or victimhood but to be “more than conquerors” in the inevitable adversity that lies ahead for all.

Clinton County Daily News, WILO, Shine 99 and Hoosierland TV captured some of the highlights of the evening including the initial countdown (part 1) followed by the landing and brief talk by State Senator Brian Buchanan.

Frankfort Mayor Judy Sheets talked briefly with Sheridan about overcoming fear in the following video:

Shan also interviewed Ted Freidline, General Manager and one of the jumpers from Skydive Indianapolis based in Frankfort.  Ted shared with Shan about his initial fears he had to overcome before he became an accomplished jumper and helped lead the successful skydive jumping organization based at KFKR Frankfort Clinton County Airport. “Life’s going to give you lots of things to be afraid of” began his interview. Patty Keaton Parks was on hand to capture some great pictures of the evening.

Sheridan tied the evening together with Paul’s writing in the Book of Romans as Sheridan connected the life-saving protection of a canopy or chute to Christ.

31 What, then, shall we say in response to these things?(A) If God is for us,(B) who can be against us?(C) 32 He who did not spare his own Son,(D) but gave him up for us all—how will he not also, along with him, graciously give us all things? 33 Who will bring any charge(E) against those whom God has chosen? It is God who justifies. 34 Who then is the one who condemns?(F) No one. Christ Jesus who died(G)—more than that, who was raised to life(H)—is at the right hand of God(I) and is also interceding for us.(J) 35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ?(K) Shall trouble or hardship or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword?(L) 36 As it is written:

“For your sake we face death all day long;
we are considered as sheep to be slaughtered.”[a](M)

37 No, in all these things we are more than conquerors(N) through him who loved us.(O) 38 For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons,[b] neither the present nor the future,(P) nor any powers,(Q) 39 neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God(R) that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.(S)
