Andrew Johnson Perkins, 37, of Frankfort, IN, passed away Sunday, June 13, 2021, at Franciscan Health in Lafayette East. He was born December 16, 1983, in Somerset, KY, to Frank Lee Rutherford, Sr. and Rita Ellen Perkins.
Andrew was a son, a brother, a nephew, a cousin, and a father to three children that he adored. Andrew was loved by his large family that will miss him dearly. We are happy that he was able to be able to give life to someone in need, as his aunt Mary Jo received a donor liver 10 years ago that saved her life. While living in Kentucky, he attended schools at Somerset.
Andrew is survived by his mother, Rita of Frankfort; children, Alexis Perkins of Somerset, Kentucky, Drew Perkins of Frankfort, and Cynthia Perkins of Frankfort, and his brothers, Jeremy Perkins and Michael Perkins.
He is preceded in death by his father, Frank Lee Rutherford, Sr. and a brother, Billy Perkins.
