Tuesday evening, United Way for Clinton County and Center Township of Clinton County distributed 325 of backpacks filled with school supplies to Clinton County school-aged children at Prairie Creek Park as part of Frankfort Police Department’s National Night Out.
Local businesses and industries, including Brock Grain Conditioning, Cintas Corporation, Donaldson, Frito-Lay, Indiana Packers, IU Health Frankfort, NHK Seating of America, The Farmers Bank, and United Way of Clinton County contributed large amounts of school supplies. The support from our community to help children in need is so remarkable.
Executive Director Anita Stewart stated, “It just took an email stating what impact we wanted to make, and nine organizations stepped up to make it happen. We appreciate your kind donations to help us Fight for the Health, Education and Financial Stability of Everyone in Clinton County.”
