The Indiana Department of Transportation announces a patching project begins on or after Monday, August 23, on I-65 between State Road 47 (Exit 146) and State Road 38 (Exit 168). There will be one 12’ lane open in the area the contractor will be patching. Rieth-Riley will be working between the hours of 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. The construction is scheduled to last through Sunday, October 10.
The contract was awarded to Rieth-Riley Construction for $1.6 million. This project will deep patch the interstate in both directions.
INDOT reminds motorists to follow the posted work zone speed limit, use caution and consider worker safety when traveling through a construction zone.
