The Frankfort Community Public Library invites the community to a special evening with professional storyteller and children’s book author Lindsay Bonilla on Wednesday, April 22 at 6 p.m. in Room 219. Light snacks will be served following the event. This free program is open to all ages.
Bonilla is a world-renowned storyteller who has performed interactive theatre and taught workshops across the globe! She is the author of six acclaimed picture books, including “The Storyteller,” “I Love You with All My Hearts,” and “Polar Bear Island.” Passionate about building cultural understanding and inspiring imagination, Bonilla brings a unique energy to her presentations that blends literature with performance.
Participants at this event will have the opportunity to learn the art of storytelling, participate in acting out a story, and discover how performance influences the writing process. Youth interested in creative writing, reading, and drama are especially encouraged to attend.
This program features a special emphasis on family storytelling. To celebrate the power of shared narratives and reading together, family members of all generations are welcome to attend and participate together.
