Central Dispatch to Participate in Statewide Tornado Drill

Clinton County Central Dispatch will participate in the statewide tornado drill on Tuesday, March 16 between 10 a.m. and 10:30 a.m.  They will conduct a full activation of the tornado sirens. The test will be postponed to March 17 if severe weather warrants.

The week of March 14 – March 20 is Severe Weather Preparedness Week.

Once again, it is a good time to talk with your family about what to do in the event of severe weather.  A Tornado Watch means conditions are possible.  It does not mean that they will occur.  A Tornado Warning is issued when a tornado is imminent.  When a tornado warning is issued, seek safe shelter immediately.
