Excessive Heat Forcing Schools to Have Later Kickoff Time Friday Night

Start times for some of tonight’s scheduled high school football games  have been pushed back due to the excessive heat warning in the area.

We know of five games that will have a later start time tonight. Those games are Clinton Prairie at Frankfort; Western Boone at Western; Zionsville at Lebanon; Kokomo at Whiteland and Mooresville at Danville. All these will now start at 8 p.m.

Clinton Central, which was scheduled to play Traders Christian at home tonight, is not playing because Traders Christian cancelled their season due to a lack of players.

The Western Boone at Western game is the Game of the Week on HoosierlandTV.com. The pregame show will start at 7:45 with the kickoff slated for 8 p.m. with Don Stock and Karl Kercheval calling the action.

Before you leave tonight for the high school game of your choice, we suggest that you check with schools to make sure when kickoff time is.
