Harness Racing Will Be Held This Week at Fairgrounds

Harness Racing fans have two consecutive weeks of harness racing to enjoy.  This week, Monday and Tuesday, harness racing returns to the Clinton County Fairgrounds in Frankfort with full cards beginning at 1 p.m. each day. Then next, Monday and Tuesday, during the Clinton County & 4-H Fair, harness racing will begin at 6 p.m. each evening.

The last harness races, hosted by the John “Doc” McClain track, was last year’s state finals which featured the state’s top horses, based on their season records.

The Clinton County Fairgrounds track is considered to be one of the state’s fastest “All Weather” tracks.

There is no admission charge to view harness racing at the Fairgrounds.
