Indiana University Health Arnett was proud to welcome the first baby of 2020. Ruby Maxine Jenkins was born at 2:02 a.m. on January 1, 2020. She weighed in at 7.8 pounds and was 20 inches in length. Mom and baby are doing well.
Mother: Katlyn Jenkins, from Attica. Father: Paul Shachael, from Lafayette.
Ruby is the second child for Katlyn. She has a 2-year-old son at home anxiously waiting to meet his new baby sister.
