Kirklin Annual Easter Egg Hunt

Saturday, April 3, 2021 The Kirklin Hoosier 4-H Club and The Kirklin fire department and EMS held their annual Easter Egg Hunt at The Kirklin Town Park

We had a great crowd and all the children had big smiles on their faces. Especially when The Easter Bunny surprised all of us coming in with all the lights on a Kirklin Fire truck. Thank Chief, Mike Henry and all of the other Fire and EMS who came to keep us all safe.

Thank you to the Kirklin Town Merchants for sharing time with the Easter Bunny. We want to thank the Kirklin Park Board for allowing us to use the park for the chilly but beautiful spring morning. We also want to thank Zionsville Fire Department for allowing Sparky the Fire Dog to spend the morning with us.

The Fire department and the Kirklin Hoosier 4-H club packed an estimated 3500 eggs. There were gold and silver eggs for each age group and they received an Easter basket. The biggest smile was on the Grand Prize Egg winner and the new bicycle that she received Thank you to all of families who came out and made memories after last year was cancelled.

We also want to thank everyone who made a canned and non perishable food donation for the local food pantry. It shows the dedication and support of our community continuing to help one another. We also want to thank Clinton County Daily news and staff for their continued support of our functions. Happy Easter everyone. Pamela Clements, Kirklin Hoosier 4-H Leader. Co-leader Bethany Perlee
