Kirk’s Crossing Festival for June 26-28

KIRKLIN — Family fun, entertainment, food, and community activities will take center stage as the Kirk’s Crossing Festival returns June 26-28 in Kirklin.

Festivities for Friday, June 26, start with Family Fun Night at the park. Activities will include pony rides, a petting zoo and animal feeding area, barrel train rides, face painting, kids games, food and booth vendors, and free pickleball play. The evening will also feature the crowning of the Kiddie King and Queen, free door prizes for children and adults, live music by John Stevens Jr., a foam party, a beer garden, and a free showing of The Super Mario Galaxy Movie at dusk.

The celebration continues Saturday, June 27, with a full day of events. The day begins with breakfast at the park shelter, followed by the Kirk’s Crossing 5K Run and a pickleball tournament. A car show, parade, animal show, pizza and pie eating contests, cornhole tournament, bingo, inflatables for children, and a K-9 demonstration by the Clinton County Sheriff’s Department are among the scheduled attractions.

Saturday’s parade will step off at noon on Main Street following an 11 a.m. flag-raising ceremony. Live entertainment throughout the day will include performances by Ma Bell and Penthouse Suites Band. Food vendors, craft vendors, games, and family activities will be available throughout the festival grounds.

The festival concludes Sunday, June 28, with a performance by Stones Crossing, a free community lunch, and a waterball tournament north of the park.

Additional events scheduled for Thursday, June 25, include the KVFD Dan’s Fish Fry at the Kirklin Fire Station and a Versiti Blood Drive at the Kirklin Library.
