Travis Lee Abston Jr., 15, of Battle Ground, passed away on Tuesday, September 18, 2018, following an automobile accident. He was born May 15, 2003, in Lafayette, to Travis Lee Abston Sr. and Amber Cooper; his parents survive. Travis was a sophomore at William Henry Harrison High School. He enjoyed sports especially football and basketball and playing video games.
Surviving Travis are his father, of Battle Ground; mother, of Kokomo; paternal grandparents, Cathy Abston, of Frankfort, and William Abston Jr., of Florida; maternal grandmother, Patricia Cooper, of Kokomo; and his brothers and sisters, MyKayla Chambers, Daulton Abston, Tessa Abston, Wyatt Abston, Abbigail Abston, Gabrielle Abston, Abel Abston.
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 21, 2018, at Genda Funeral Home in Frankfort from 1:00 p.m. to the start of the funeral service at 3:00 p.m. Rev. Mark Mowery will officiate.
