Dianna Kay (Wortman) Bryant, 72, of Lafayette, passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 4, 2023 at Franciscan East in Lafayette. She was the second daughter born to Robert and Betty Jane (Lawson) Wortman on September 17, 1950, in Lafayette. She married the love of her life, Wayne Bryant, on September 27 1975; he preceded her in death on November 15, 2010.
Dianna worked various jobs over the years. She enjoyed bartending, waitressing, then finally retired from Landis/Gyr when they moved to Mexico in 2005. While growing up in Lafayette, Dianna had attended schools in the Lafayette school corporation.
She loved planting flowers on her back patio and won several awards for her efforts. She was a fun loving gal who loved hanging at the creek, fishing, dancing, listening to music of all kinds, and watching her western shows on TV.
Surviving Dianna are a daughter, Ashleigh Rae (Fiancé, Nicholas) Bryant; step son, David (Tracy) Bryant; sisters, Carol Sue (Deb Dubes) Wortman and Gayle (Sam) Lahiri; granddaughter, KD Young; grandsons, Brayden and Brantley Allen; nieces and nephews, Alexis Platt, Jake Williams, Jason and Nathan Lindamood; and James, David, Timothy, Andrew and Paul Smith; her “ride or die” friend, Vickey Neal, and friends, Diane Jarrard, Peggy Williams, Melvin Linback, and the many more that had come and gone thoughout her life.
In addition to her husband and parents, she is preceded in death by; son, Joshua Cole; sisters, Sandra Smith, Cheryl Wortman, and Rebecca Williams; and brothers, Steve Muston and Robert C. Wortman.
