Decon Zander Wyatt Cole, 16, of Frankfort, passed unexpectedly on February 13, 2023, from a severe asthma attack which caused a cardiac arrest in St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis surrounded by his family.
Decon was born in Frankfort on November 16, 2006, to Dustin Cole and Annette Davis. He attended Clinton Central Schools before transferring to The Crossing at Frankfort, where he was a sophomore. He worked at Bruno’s Pizza and also at NHK for his school work study program. Decon enjoyed participating in the Teen Takeover at CORE and attending Connecting Point Youth Group. He also enjoyed skating, playing video and board games, watching Marvel movies, was a Harry Potter fan, and liked riding almost anything.
Surviving Decon are his parents, Dustin (Kasie) Cole and Annette (Daniel) Davis; grandparents, Jeff (Leita) Williams, Donna (John Reed) Williams, Norman (Brenda) Cole, Daniel (Lona) Davis, Rheta Davis, Alan Hodges, and Cathy Dobson; siblings, Caydence Riley, Kaylynn Cole, Kage Riley, Natalia Williams, Debbra Cole, Dacoda Davis, Taylor Cole, Ashton Graves, and Charlee Cole; a forever stepmother, Amy Black; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Visitation will be Sunday, February 19, 2023, from 1:00 p.m. to the beginning of the service at 4:00 p.m. at Day & Genda Funeral Home in Frankfort, with Pastor Shan Sheridan officiating. A last ride will follow the service past Bruno’s, The Crossing School, and Clinton Central High School. People are invited to join in the procession or line the route as Decon will ride by some of the places he enjoyed the most. Family asks that memorials be made to the funeral home to assist with expenses.
