Carol Ellen Love, 80, of Frankfort, Ind., died November 8, 2024 at her home. She was born December 5, 1943 in Danville, Illinois to Thomas & Mabel (Zetterberg) Sutton. She married Gordon Thomas Love on December 23, 1967 and he preceded her in death on October 24, 2003.
Carol was a graduate of Frankfort High School and then went on to Beauty School. A hairdresser for over 50 years, she was self-employed, working at Hair Happening in Frankfort. She was a lifelong Frankfort resident. Carol enjoyed painting, flower gardening and cross word puzzles.
Carol is survived by her daughters: Jamie (Craig) Bard of Fayette, OH, Kristie Love (Dan) Laxman of Mesa, AZ, grandchildren: Chloe & Taylor Bard and Jacob & James Laxman and a sister: Janet Crawford of Frankfort. In addition to her parents and spouse, she was preceded in death by a sister, Barbara Coors.
Funeral Services:
