Paul David Wylie, 84, of Frankfort, passed away October 7, 2025 with his family by his side. He was born March 27, 1941 in Knoxville, Kentucky to Charlie Wylie and Myrtle (Harmon) Wylie. He married Wanda Hamlin on June 26, 2004 at the First Baptist Church in Frankfort and she survives.
Paul attended school in Tazewell, Tennessee. He was a truck driver for Lazy Boy Logistics for 36 years before retiring. Paul loved rebuilding race cars.
Paul is survived by his wife, Wanda of Frankfort, daughter Paula Soto of Monroe, Michigan, step son Jimmy (Sharon) Middleton of Arizona, step daughter Joetta (Frank) Loveland of Delphi, brother Edward (Connie) Wylie of Michigan, several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sons Gilbert Wylie and Neal Wylie, son-in-law Fred Soto and 9 brothers and sisters.
Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. Monday, October 13, 2025 at Coffey Funeral Home, 937 Broad Street, New Tazewell, TN 37825. Funeral Services will begin at 1:00 p.m. at Coffey Funeral Home with Pastor Paul Whitaker officiating. Burial will be in Cupp Cemetery, Claiborne County, Tennessee.
