Linda June Brammell, 88, of Frankfort, passed away Friday, January 16, 2026, at IU Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis. She was born June 21, 1937, in Brookston to Forrest and Mildred (Snyder) Hoshaw. She married Robert E. Brammell on October 29, 1955. He preceded her in passing May 15, 2005.
Linda was graduate of Delphi High School. She took care of her family and her home. She was an active member of Eagle Harvest Ministries. She enjoyed working with ceramics, baking and cooking, and crocheting. She was a woman of faith and was always willing to lend a helping hand or care for others when she could. She was always giving to others. Her life’s passion was her family. She loved spending time with her family and spoiling her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Linda is survived by her sons, Robert M. (Carol) Brammell and Daniel Brammell; a sister Judy Lutchka; grandchildren Daniel “Danny” Brammell, Robert A. (Kelly) Brammell, Meghan (Matt) Huffer; and great grandchildren, Sarabeth Huffer, Ruby Brammell, Cameron Brammell, Weston Brammell.
Along with her husband, Linda was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, John, David, Dennis, Daniel; sisters, Eileen, Betty, and Katherine; and granddaughter, Jessica
Visitation will be held, Tuesday, January 20, 2026, from 11am until the time of the funeral service at 1pm at Eagle Harvest Ministries, 1380 N. State Road 39, Frankfort. Pastor Jeff Sarine will officiate. Burial will follow at Kilmore Cemetery. Day & Genda Funeral Home in Frankfort is assisting with the arrangements and the services.
