Lafayette Symphony Orchestra Announces 2026 McPherson String Scholarship Applications

The Lafayette Symphony Orchestra (LSO)

The Lafayette Symphony Orchestra (LSO) is now accepting applications for the 2026 McPherson String Scholarship, a long-standing program designed to support and inspire young string musicians across the region.

Established in 1998 by Dr. and Mrs. Richard C. McPherson in honor of their children, Gregg A. McPherson and Kimberly McPherson, the scholarship encourages excellence and continued growth in string-playing proficiency among middle and high school students.
